What constitutes a perfect cup of coffee is a matter of personal preference. Nearly everyone has a different opinion on the subject. Some people love a rich, hot full bodied coffee with no flavors or mixes to take away from that natural coffee taste and scent. Other people enjoy added flavors such as hazelnuts, chocolate, vanilla and even fruit. No matter what your preference is, there are certain aspects of coffee making that make or break the final outcome, regardless of whether any flavors are added or not.
Coffee beans are delicate and you need to be aware of their properties if you are going to make the best use of them. The first rule to keep in mind that roasting a coffee bean causes it to immediately begin to lose flavor.
