No matter how careful you are you will eventually have to deal with coffee stains on your clothes, carpet, or furniture.
Here are some easy techniques you can follow to remove coffee stains:
- Black coffee: Use a mild detergent on the area where the stains has caught and rub it gently. Gradually you will find that the stain gets blotted.
Stubborn stains: Prepare a vinegar solution and apply it on the stained area. Use mixture of a third cup of white vinegar and two thirds of a cup of water. Apply this solution to the stained area along with lukewarm water. After a gentle rinse, the stain will start to fade. Blot carefully with a dry cloth.
- Coffee with cream or sweeteners: Try the mild detergent first, but you may require some special chemicals that are available in the market.
You can use an enzymatic detergent solution based for laundry work.
The instructions of their usage are elaborately given on the packet or in a separate sheet within the packet. Follow those instructions verbatim. You will definitely get good results.
But don’t forget to rinse that area of the cloth with lukewarm water because sometimes slight traces of additional sugars remain and with time they turn brownish on that part of the cloth.
- For fine fabrics and expensive garments, you might need the help of professional cleaners.
If you are coffee lover, you must know the ways to remove its stains.
